I have 6 chicks about 5 months old. All purchased at the same time so I'm assuming all the same age, like couple days old when I got them in February. The bloody pine shavings I found in their coop the morning after I cleaned their coop, as I always have. New things I did was add ag lime to the coop but covered it with pine shavings as per instructions on web. They eat medicated starter grower but I have had to get unmedicated at times as it was all I could find with the higher protein. The majority of blood in the coop was not accompanied by any poop, it looked like blood clots and Pine shavings that absorbed straight blood. Pic 2. Later yesterday I did not see which one made this but.... Bloody poop. Pic 1....i think. They have all been acting like their normal selves. Eating, drinking and mischief like always. No visible injuries, no bloody feathers, feet, face, vent. I got corid yesterday and plan on starting them on that today, here in just a few minutes but they are currently on a medicated feed so is this a good idea? Anything else it could be or I should treat for?? First time chickener LOL. GUIDANCE, ADVISE, WISDOM PLEASE!?

In addition to the medicated water, for any that you know are having the bloody droppings, or any that are acting off, lethargic, and may not be drinking well, you can give an oral dose once a day for up to three days, to help get the meds in and working. Once they start feeling better they will drink enough on their own. Dosing for the oral dose is by weight, instructions are here:

I appreciate this as I've done the meds in their drinking water but was wondering if there was anything I needed to do or treat in any other way!?
