Is it Coccidiosis?

Medicated feed will not prevent or cur Cocci.
It's best to treat them.
They have since been treated. I know medicated feed doesn't cure it, however I was told that it will prevent it, that that is the whole reasoning behind medicated VS non medicated.
I cleaned the coop Friday when I noticed them (after I took the pics) and there still isn't any new bloody droppings so I doubt that it actually was it, or if it was they fought it and overcame it on their own.
But I did get some medicine from a friend who happened to have some on hand and gave it to them yesterday

Medicated feed will not always prevent it either, it is another common myth.
It may help lesson the severity of it if the get it.
Not all chicks with Cocci actually poop blood either, that is just one of the possible signs.
It would be best to go ahead and treat them all for the full recommended course.
Corid is not a medicine and will not hurt them.

Ooooh see I thought if you gave medicated feed since hatch that they wouldn't get it! It's why I never bothered to keep the stuff to treat it on hand, I thought they were safe! Well know I know for the future and I will continue giving it to them, thank you

How did I miss all this...lol. Yes, Kiki's totally correct. Sometimes cocci can overtake their little systems with medicated feed.

It also doesn't necessarily have to be wet conditions either. I just proved that. My chicks were on dry paper and given clean paper twice a day or as needed sooner. I would never have caught the tiny amount of blood in the two poops if the chicks hadn't been on clean paper. I was thankful I hadn't gotten the chicks out to the coop sooner.

I learned A LOT last year from dealing with it. Heck, I'm still learning...lol.

Just make certain that you get the correct directions from your vet. My directions were not correct. It clicked when I was double checking the amounts listed by @casportpony
Thankfully I caught it before giving them the Amprolium. And make sure you give it for the full amount of time that they prescribe. :thumbsup
