Is it common for a previously egg bound chicken to stop laying eggs for a bit?

Any update to this? Going through the same thing with my hen

She did lay again about a week later. Sadly she had an infection a few weeks after that and didn't respond well to antibiotics. She is no longer with me.

I hope your hen is alright.
