Is it easy to sex bielefelders?

Hi, I an ordering eggs online and I was thinking about Bielefelders but I need to make sure if they are hens or Roos or if Bielefelders are hard to sex I will get sex links but if I don't know that would be bad because my friend wants the hens and I need all of those roosters I can get because I don't really want him to kill any of them thanks!

Yes, that white dot on the head is present on all the males, in addition to the lighter coloring and lack of fabulous eye-liner (a fittingly female characteristic).

where did you get yours?

I hatched from about 4 different breeders last winter. Sad!y, I have not had the best of luck with them. They are pretty heavy on the feed and really don't lay during the winter at all (and our California winters are pretty mild). I'm not certain I will continue with them, although they are lovely and docile - and I recently hatched out - from the three eggs I got from them - the cute little trio in the picture.

Thank you so much. I have two that are hatching after 22 days I think the incubator got all messed up but I have a new one coming tomorrow and I will use it
