I would talk with the seller first-maybe there was an issue and the seller would be willing to reship for a discounted price or something in the future....

Alright ya'll, the OP's question stands- is it fair to request a refund? My answer is a big YES!

If there was a problem, you should have been told asap. There should have been a tracking number- eggs are almost always shipped via Priority Mail and there is a tracking number automatically supplied.

Seller, if you are monitoring this topic, I urge you to make it right. Please do the right thing.
