Is it fertile?

So I've got an egg in the incubator basically long story short my female runner died a week later I found an egg of hers and thought I would try incubate it, it's been in for 7 days and the air sac is definatly growing but I can't see any blood vessels, I think I can see a faint dark spot in the yolk but it might be wishful thinking. Would you guys give it a little longer? Thanks

Sorry to hear you lost your runner I would give it a little longer if you are unsure. Sometimes eggs can be sneaky and I've read many a time of eggs been removed and cracked open only to find a developing embryo in there. Could you post a pic of the egg when you candle?

Hmm I did just try but the camera isn't picking it up at all, thanks though i leave it a few more days just to be sure. Would the air sac grow if the egg was infertile?

Yes the egg would still lose moisture as the days pass so the air sac would grow.
Good luck hope you do have some growth in the egg next time you candle
