Hi, I came across a quail feed that has 4,20 % caclcium and 23% protein. Would this be fine for both chicks and adults or could the increased calcium level harm the chicks in anyway?

Isn't 4% calcium way too much for quail?4% calcium is fine for layiing hens. It is harmful to the chicks. The chicks need a starter feed with about 1% calcium.
It is the same as layer feed. It is fine for the hens that are laying. It is too much for quail chicks and juveniles..Isn't 4% calcium way too much for quail?
