Is it just me? Is this the end of the forum I used to enjoy so much?

Is it just me or is this thread highly political?....just b/c the OP doesn't like reading other people's threads the mods should censor heavily?.............it may not be US politics but its definitely political. If you don't want to read it, then don't. So you have to scroll a couple more lines past the threads you don't want to read if you're looking at recent posts....god forbid.

I haven't read this whole thread, but I have made so many friends here by learning about them through the Random Ramblings... You're not going to learn about someone just by talking about which incubator they use, etc....

Just about every sub-forum on this board is dedicated to chickens. To be honest, I don't think I would be on this forum near as much if it wasn't for the random ramblings section. I love my chickens, don't get me wrong, but there's only so much you can talk about regarding chickens. Random ramblings is one of my favorite sections. I love the politics, and I don't mind hearing about your grown kids that wont move out LOL. I hate the games and jokes forum, and I never ever go there. Never been to the peafowl forum either LOL.

OK, now on to MY rant. Why is it, that if a sub-forum doesn't appeal to you, cant you just leave it be? why do you have to go there, and read, and rant about the forum you hate. How ridiculous would it be if I went to the peafowl forum and demanded the mods remove it? I'd get laughed off. I don't have peafowl. I don't want pea fowl. I have absolutely no interest whosoever in pea fowl. But i couldn't care less if there IS a peafowl forum. Heck, someone might even want to read it. Makes no difference to me.

Make no mistake about it. This post is, and was intended to be, political. My guess is the general consensus politically of the majority of posters differs from that of the Original Poster. Perhaps she doesnt like seeing her party/political saviour/etc being picked apart on here, so instead of not reading, or forming intelligent responses to the political posts she doesnt agree with, she calls for the end of all political posts... yup, just like her party.

have been reading this all morning... I am sorry you feel that way ... and i hope you don't leave... I think everyone has a freedom of speach as long as it is not offensive.. there are alot of things on here that i don't agree with ...
