Or is the GJ&F area not the same as it used to be?

I haven't been around for quite a while, BYC was sucking up my time over the summer so I decided to get a life outside of the Crazy Pullets (no offense to any of my fellow pullets) and now I come back and there are more role play threads then anything else! I came on here to actually find a joke and there were actually none to be found! It seems like if you don't keep up with the media and pop culture (which I don't) you can't really understand anything....

I will admit there has been a lack of "Jokes" in the "Games, Jokes, and Fun" subforum for quite a while. And yes, roleplays have been incredibly popular and do take up much of the space here.

I really do hope this can remain a friendly discussion and not an argument. A note to other people; if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

You're absolutely right; Games, Jokes, and Fun has indeed changed. It became Roleplays, Characters, and Storywriting. People just see one roleplay and think to themselves, "Oh! Owning my own roleplay sounds so cool!" and with that, they create their own. That in itself isn't so much a problem, it's that nobody realizes how things are piling up. You see, we actually made our own website for these roleplays, because there were getting to be way too many, but everyone had their own ideas and decided to stay at BYC still. We all are apparently helplessly addicted to BYC and nobody wants to leave.

Therefore, we are, unfortunately, right back where we started!

In the meantime... I'm really sorry. I'll try to figure something out.
