Alright I need some help here... A Little Trivia... I have chicks that I have sold in the last month and one poor lady lost all the chicks she bought from me (10) a week after she bought them and then another lady lost (1) 3 days later that she bought from me but I have 7 healthy happy running around babies and my mother in law has 3 of the chicks and they are doing great as well. I feel like I am doing something wrong but they are all mixed chicks and on medicated feed since they hatch. Is this just something that happens or is there something else I can do to guarantee the little ones live... it seems out of my control after they leave my doorstep at 24hrs but now after 2 reports I feel horrible but I have 4 reports with thumbs up :( Thanks for the advice ahead of time. By the way I have a farmyard full of healthy adults and chicks its just when they leave... they were all older than 2 weeks when they went to these new homes...

It sounds to me like it's something the new owner is doing. Maybe the brooder isn't the right temp, wrong bedding, wrong food etc. Do these people have any experience raising chickens?

This is just a shot in the dark but could it be coccidia? Brought on more severely by the stress of the move? Again, it wouldn't be anything that you did but, the new owners might not be catching the symptoms in time.
