Ugh.....this may not be so far out there for some. I swear my brother IS a carnivore. If it wasn't for bread he would qualify. Can you say UNHEALTHY!!!!!!

When my brother eats soup, he doesn't drink the broth. AND my brother is a vegan. Everybodies got problems....

Crunchie, are you a Friend?

I don't think it immoral to eat meat. I love a good T bone steak med rare, so does DH. My Problem is due to a med condition I cannot eat more than 8 oz red meat a month. I buy& cook it for DH, but I stick to chicken or fish.I really don't miss it anymore like I didwhen i first got sick. Now sometimes just the smell of meatcooking will turn my stomach. OtherwiseI would be at the front of the line eating lots of good red meat. marrie

Again the act of eating the meat is neither moral or immoral neither ethical or unethical. My eating the meat in no way injured the animal. Any injury occurred before I ate it.

Was that injury, the events prior to, leading to and part of the animals death conscionable and justifiable?

Oops... only compromises have to be justified.

This is a very good discussion, good thread!! So far, the above is the best, well thought out post. And I agree with much of what you say, Crunchie. Being top dog in the food chain also has its responsibilities.
