Is it neccessary?

I'm curious if I should clip my chicken's wings or not. It wouldn't be too difficult to do or anything, but I'd like to know if it's neccessary.

I have a 7ft.(?) tall privacy fence, but close neighbors. The neighbors have really BIG dogs; like huskies, white labs, and something that looks like a foxhound or a beagle. I don't want my chickens to become their lunch.

The fence is great but there is always a chance that they get over. Mine gets up on top of the coop and it is about 6 1/2' tall, you never know and this is with clipped wings
