Is it normal for a Hen (Blue laced wyandotte to have a rose comb?

One of my blue laced wyandottes seems to have a rose comb.. there a chance it may be a rooster? I'll try and get a picture up but in the meantime what can i look for to tell the differences in if its a hen or a rooster? there roughly 2 1/2 months old probobly closer to 3 months.

Wyandottes are supposed to have rose combs. Occasionally single combs will show up - generally in hatchery birds.
