That means the chick is a male.

I thought the barring gene was "an absence of coloration in the
feather, causing white stripes (bars) on the feathers".

So isn't this just misplaced lacing. Blue Australorps and Blue Marans are laced. The bottom of the hens foot could give a clue to if she was Marans.

I can't see it well, but doesn't that chick have yellow legs?

Ideal's Marans are clean-legged, not feathered.

None of these hens are barred. Another bird has to have been involved somewhere be it a barred rooster or one of your barred hens eggs

The chicks legs do appear yellow. That along with being barred I would hazard to say the mother is most likely one of the barred rocks
