Alittle bit. Haven't eaten anything since breakfast.Someone hangry? Hehe? What's for dinner? I have manicotti in the oven.
Yum!Alittle bit. Haven't eaten anything since breakfast.
Pork loin, asparagus, mashed potatoes, gravy, & carrots.
It's not that defined with blue most of the time.I thought the barring gene was "an absence of coloration in the
feather, causing white stripes (bars) on the feathers".
So isn't this just misplaced lacing. Blue Australorps and Blue Marans are laced. The bottom of the hens foot could give a clue to if she was Marans.
I can't see it well, but doesn't that chick have yellow legs?
Beautiful blue but without white bars I would not say cuckoo. It's not that defined with blue most of the time.
Better barring is something that needs to be selected towards.
Marans would not have yellow legs. Another thing hatcheries take liberty with.Chicks from white skinned parents can have yellow legs, they often transition to white as they age.
Clearly you didn't understand what I said, about chick leg color.Beautiful blue but without white bars I would not say cuckoo.
I guess hatcheries get away with that though.

Yes I did. We evidently disagree about Marans leg color. Not a problem just a difference.Clearly you didn't understand what I said, about chick leg color.
