Is it normal for chick starter to be this powdery?

Mix the organic together with what they know (dumor) and over the course of a few days change the ratio over until it's all the organic. We feed our meat birds organic and it's always rather powdery like that. I've mixed it with yogurt to feed the younger ones and they LOOVVEEEEEE it.... just some cheap, plain, greek yogurt. You don't need much and it makes it look like granola by the time it's all mixed and incorporated.

I've even made a couple batches mixed with a little water and let it sit in the sun to dry out.... it turns into more of a crumble then and holds itself together rather well.
