Is it normal for my 12 hens to only go through 35lbs of feed a month..?

Is there a way you can keep the bags/bins indoors? I keep my feed in a room off of the garage, and I bring in the chicken feed nightly so there are no mice or rodents attracted at night.
I keep all my feed in a large trash barrel. Nothing has ever gotten into it. We have mice rats opossum and coyotes. In almost 2 yrs Ive never had them bother my hens or their food. I also have multiple cat hunters so the mice and rats aren't a problem. My large dog may deter the coyotes. They are a big problem around here.

Oyyy, 12 birds= three pounds a day, figure 2.25 pounds if half are bantams, x 30 days = 67.5 pounds a month.

I'm lazy this afternoon and didn't read through the entire thread but it seems that you are way under feeding unless you are supplementing with treats or free range.

Whatever you are doing, don't change anything!
