For chickens to hold out for treats instead of eating their food?

feed them mostly in their feeder, but sometimes you can give them little treats by hand.

Oh yeah, if they know treats come every day they will avoid laying pellets. Limit the treats.

Ok but they won't starve themselves will they holding out for treats.

If they are healthy and the 'other' food is clean and mold-free, yes, you chickens will eat before they die.

The one started to eat and the other one poked it as if to said hey hold out for the good stuff lol
