oops.ty for the reply.thats another reason im 99% both of mine are female is the quack.both of mine quack clearly and quite loudly as well.especially when they want something lol.

Ducks are sexual...Hens mount Hens and Drakes mount Drakes..Its normal...Kiddie pools are exciting places and get them all riled up....

Yep, normal! My girls do this too. I guess it’s just an innate behavior that needs to be fulfilled no matter the gender. Mine only do it right after I clean the pond, when they’re really excited and dive around a lot first.
