Not at all, much of what you post is extremely on point. But other factors causing double yolk eggs are strain of bird, breed of bird, point in laying cycle (end as well as start), and the list goes on.

Hmmm. Okay, well I didn't know that. I've only heard that young layers can produce double eggs so nice to learn something new.

I have no experience with keeping meat birds to laying age. Hopefully someone with experience will chime in. Regardless, as long as they are having no problem laying those big eggs all is good. You are getting twofers.
