is it ok to give chickens leftover food

chicmom, yup, they will get fat. that's why i make sure i have a ton of extra time to chase them around my yard, kick them out of my flower beds, watch dirt fly under my pepper plants (dust bathing).

na, really, they do get extra excersize if they get anything really bad or that has a lot of calories. They get less in the winter just because of that. Although I have been known to make them their own pinapple upside down cake.....

Oh man, how could I live without my little recyclers? I have 2 boys that don't always finish their meals, and FORGET crusts of bread. I've even finely dice up carrots and celery without strings (something that I won't do for my human children) and the chickies love it! Oh, and Cheerios! That's like 5 star restaurant food for them LOL!

Mine have me trained to throw treats out my bathroom window (the easiest access to my back yard)... I'm a treat dispenser basically, I go in to tinkle and they come running across the yard make a hootenanny until I throw them something out the window to snack on. I'm so well trained I now keep a bag of BOSS in the bathroom, much to the confusion of visitors! They also like fruits, veggies, cheese, and the occasional left over rice or pasta.

What about milk I give mine milk everyday they love it ok to give it every day ?
