I have two pullets who will be laying next month most likely. One is already doing the squat. I picked up some Poultry Booster by Rooster Booster from TSC today because some of my two year old girls have stopped laying completely.

Will this hurt the two pullets who are not laying?

The container says for the entire flock but when I checked their website it says "product is high in calcium for bone growth and egg development. Use on all young fowl to ensure maximum growth and development." I am concerned with the high calcium for the younger girls. The container says min 2.75% max 3.00% calcium per pound. Is this actually high?

Personally, I wouldn't. I would leave oyster shell, free choice tho.

Seems like one of mine isn't getting enough calcium while eating the grower feed for the pullets. I am not sure if she is eating the oyster shell.

Why do you think not enough calcium?

Nothing concrete just my gut feeling. She has watery poop since getting sick. It almost looks like there is gooey egg white in it to me. I crated her when she got sick, got her healthy with antibiotics, poultry drench and calcium (Tums). After she recovered she was laying more than ever. The watery poop persists and she stopped laying again. She seems ok but she isnt laying. I actually need to make a thread about it I guess.
