Is it okay to start adding light now that my flock has started to molt

99% of my hens are molting as expected. One has new feathers but didn't drop her feathers like the rest. This monday I started having a CFL come on in the early AM to get them back into egg prduction (I have 20 hens and I am only getting 4 eggs per day for the past 3 weeks

).

Is adding light now okay?

I would rather they spend a little down time, myself. I'd rather they use the protein in their feed to re-grow their feathers. Later, when they are re-feathered and healthy? Perhaps. But right, it is hard to both regrow feathers and lay eggs.

would I mess them up terribly if I cut the light now that they have had it for 4 days?
