Is It Safe to Let Baby Chicks in with Adults?

Yup!

At least, it's working just fine for me, my broody phoenix, and her 14 chicks:

Snacking on cracked corn with daddy - the splash cochin.

The rest of the flock just ignores them. Even my dogs know better than to even look in the same direction as the chicks, or Emmy will come running to kick some butt!

The chicks may get eaten if they don't have a mama to protect them.

The answer to this question is another question: Is mama with them?
If she is, they are fine. If not, no they aren't.

I was also wondering if this is okay. I am also curious if you have two hens that have hatched out babies ( like I do right now ) can all be together or if the hens will fight over the chicks.It wuld be a lot easier to care for them if they are all in the same area. One set of chicks are 3 weeks old and the other are 2 weeks old.
