Is it safe to put Runner duck eggs under a very broody Chinese Goose??

Straw and hay are easiest for her to move around and reposition. If you only have shavings, pull the eggs and feather nest out. Fill the bottom with shavings, put the nest on top and place the eggs in the middle. She'll give you the stink eye and complain while she has to fix everything to screwed up.

There already is about 3 inches of shavings between the coop floor and the eggs. She put more shaving and the feathers in a circle and put eggs in herself. It's like she shifted the shavings the make a oval a little shallow and then added the feathers in the mix. So the eggs where already in there and I took all her unfertilized out, put the runner duck eggs in with 2 of her eggs on either side. She came back in and totally gave me the stink eye while she rolled the eggs where she wanted them and fluffed more shaving/feathers around and then has been sitting on them for almost 2 days. Do you think her nest is good enough already?
