Is it the same chicken laying these eggs?

I have 3 almost six month old chickens that we bought all at once as tiny baby chicks, 2 of which are New Hampshire Reds And one is a Buff Orpington. I also have a Silkie that I got in June that wasn’t a chick so I’m not sure how old she is but they told me she should be about the same age as my others. Last week we got our first egg! Since then, we have gotten about 10 eggs. This is how they always look, so my question is whether it’s only one chicken laying them or if it’s 2 that have both started? These ones were laid this morning and the pic is after washing them.

You could check their pelvic bone spacing to see who's laying .... Due to coloring, I'd say two different girls ....

Probably two different layers. Definitely 2 if you get 2 eggs on the same day.

Orpingtons are usually much slower layers. I would say one NHR and the smaller egg from the silkie. My silkies always laid a slender egg with a more shiny finish than the others.

Oh yay! Yes we have had 2 days where we had 2 in the same day, though one was in the morning and one was in there in the late afternoon which I found odd but had read can happen and figured to check since it’s still hot here! Thank you!

It's normal for chickens to lay at different times of the day, the egg cycle is not exactly 24 hours. I have some lay as late as 4:00pm on occasion. My ducks rarely lay after 8:00am, but with the chickens, anything goes!

I've got 4BO, one started laying at 22wks which was a shocker, still waiting on the other 3. The last set of BO started at 6months so this one pullet surprised me.
