My 23 chickens are squabbling a LOT lately. Really fighting. Chasing each other for several loops around the run. Pulling out huge bunches of feathers. This is in addition to the boys chasing the girls, which the girls really don't seem to appreciate one bit. My group is all 21 weeks old and still has 50% boys. So, is it just that I've got way too many roos or is it that the shorter days and/or cooler weather has them all riled up?
