Is it too cold out for hens to sit on eggs ?

I always let them sit on eggs in the spring, but do I have to wait ? The coldest we go is in the high 20's but there are only 2 eggs in the nest so far. They are just finishing a molt and starting to lay again.

I’d wait unless you have a warmer spot somewhere. The cold is already a bit hard on them, not to mention being broody can do a number on their condition body wise.

Well, my hens that hatched out chicks before wouldn't sit on them until she had "enough" eggs in the nest, so I thought that would take awhile plus 21 days after that ? But I guess the eggs would freeze and be no good.
