My three female Cayugas are 4 months old, and they have already been through their first molt, I was planning on buying some laying pellets today,, and starting them on egg production, although i read they should be at least 7 months old before I do this. Whta should I do. Any advice is cool.

You don't want to feed them layer until they are laying. If you can't wait until they lay there first egg then wait until they are at least 18-20 weeks old. That is about the time most ducks start laying anyways. Layer feed has to much calcium in it for younger birds.
