Our first batch are about 7/8 weeks. RIR and golden comet mix.
Out of these 8, 2 have a definite tail that is different, slower growing.
I took pics of wing feathers. Is it too early to tell the rounded va pointed feathers? Do roosters look like they have a raggy tail in beginning?

Wings and tails don't mean anything.
Yes too young for male specific "pointy" feathers.
Best at this age to guess by comb and color size.

Tail and wing feather growth patterns only matter if specifically bred for those. The skinny/pointy hackle/saddle feathers start growing around 10-14 weeks (can be hard to spot at the early end). At about 8 weeks, comb and wattle growth is the best indicator.

Look at these. The ones w reddest are Roos?

Oh no.
That means I may have 6 roosters? 😱
No. Means all the wing and tail pics don't help. Means we need pics of faces (preferably while bird is standing). If combs are red and growing with wattles doing the same, you have cockerels. If combs are pale, not much to speak of, you have pullets. The 1st pic (with the face) looks like a pullet.
