We picked up some healthy looking chickens today at a chicken auction.
My flock has coops and a pen, but they free range all day.
I just assumed it was okay to let all the chickens in the yard since they were healthy, now I'm finding out I needed to quarantine.
They've already shared a feeder and waterer, is it too late???

They were all around each other for a couple hours, then my flock went into the pen to sleep and the new chickens went on my patio to roost for the night. They all shared the yard.

At 10pm on a Sunday night there isn't much I can do at this point. Is it too late to go to the store in the morning to get stuff to build a chicken tractor?
Also, our yard isn't that big so I can't keep them that separated.

I've only ever had chicks, never bought adult birds, and now I'm flipping out that I'm going to lose my flock!!!

Yep, too late. Hopefully the new birds you acquired are completely healthy. All you can do is observe them all for anything out of the ordinary. Good luck.

Dutchbunny , I would'nt lose any sleep over the quarantine deal ..It is a good idea to keep them isolated for a while but I have kept chickens of all kinds for over 50 yrs. and have never lost a flock to disease .Sure ,,I've had chickens die every once in a while , but at least in my case I 've never had any major outbreak of disease from bringing in new birds .I live in the alabama gulf coast region ---pest central ..My major problem is mosquitos ,and the nasty diseases they carry . But even with that I havent had any outbreaks ..good luck ..
