Amen to that! You couldn't pay me to be a teen again!!(or at least not go through hischool again)

That's pretty much where I am now.

It's very true what they say about miserable. I've probably just been through the hardest few years of my life. I can't say there haven't been the great times, but I do look back on the time I was 14 and under with great fondness.

It's funny, because I remember how I use to feel as a teen. It's amazing how when you get older you realize that being a teen is such a small part of your life. It has alot of emotions, hormones and learning experiences, but really is just a short phase of a, hopefully, long life. When you are a teen, you feel like your in that phase forever, but it does get better. Knowing that it gets even better after 40 is better yet!

Life is a conundrum. No one knows everything. They never will. Then we die. I believe if we do our best to make life the best it can possibly be every single day, that is all we can do. Remember this: If you did not learn something new today, you were not paying attention.

Yeah, sometimes I think the fact that the craziness won't last forever is the only good thing about being a teen.

Learning experiences... I've had lots. Not pleasant, but it's got to be done, I suppose, it's all part of growing up.

Old age is like waiting in the departure lounge of life. Fortunately i live in England so the train is bound to be late!

My husband just asked me a good question..How old would you be if you didnt know how old you are?

The only thing I hate about being 40 is looking much older -I'm used to being the youngest person everywhere since I started college a few years early and entered the workforce, early etc. Now I can't believe I'm 'middle aged' - it comes on so quickly! Doesn't help that I work part time at a college and play a lot of online MMORG and other games with kids who don't know I'm a 40+.

However.. I am healthier, thinner and more financially stable than I was as a teen/20.. I don't have any kids so I can play games when I want to.. I can work only part time.. So far my age has not affected me physically at all - when I was 20 I was forever having hip and other medical problems.. Plus I'm happily married for 18 years so there's no relationship 'drama' to deal with.

Another good thing is that all my friends who had kids had them very late - so at 40-something they still have toddlers. Nothing makes you feel older than a friend who just became a grandma.

If the time didn't just whiz by so quickly and plastic surgery actually worked I think I'd be ok with being 40.
