Is it true that indian runner duckling cannot swim in their first month

THIS IS URGENT. i need help on this one. does anyone know if runners cannot swim in their first month? iam raising one and need to know. Please reply quickly THANK YOU! PLEASE REPLY

Mine swim from the day after I pick them up at the post office. Just use warmish water, towel dry when done and it them ba k where warm when done so they finish drying and can preen

I let mine in the tub when they were one week old, just make sure the water isn't too deep.

From Day Two - mine started in a cake pan with 90F water - just an inch and a half of water reached their bellies! TLWR wrote the approach I have taken.
