I have pointy and round eggs out of the same chicken species (Phoenix, Serama, Amerucana and Sanjak). Marking the eggs to see which come out hen and which come out Roo. Will report back.

Exactly. My Legbars lay large more rounded eggs and my Swedish Flower hens lay HUGE pointed “Rooster” eggs! LOL!I don't think so. I have hens that lay a rather round egg (my EE), and hens that lay longish eggs. Logic asks me what difference would the shape of the egg make?

I have 2 incubating right now and one is very pointy/skinny and the other is very round/fat - both are exaggerations.
