Hi everyone! Fairly new to chickens and my neighbor had given me 5 chicks he had thought were pullets. They will be 6 weeks Saturday 10/29. I'm in denial but my guess is Janet and Fiona are roos - thankfully neighbor said he'd take the boys back if so... But have gotten attached to them!

"Janet" is the all grey
"Fiona" is the bantam frizzle mix
And Henrietta is the gold/brown mix (who I'm pretty certain is a pullet)

They may be roos, but it's still too young to be 100% sure! I had a Lavender Orpington and a Jersey Giant that looked like roos, but so far they're my best layers 😂
Figured still need to wait out a few more weeks but getting antsy to know for sure. They are so entertaining and hard to not get attached. Appreciate the reply!
How many weeks on your two that you were confident in knowing for sure?

Pretty much until they popped an egg or two 😅
Some of my girls have enormous waddles; could just be genes but it sure looks funny!

Fiona is a definite cockerel. Janet could go either way IMO. I think Henrietta could too honestly.

Please post updated pics of Janet and Henrietta in 2 more weeks. Full size individual pics work best.
