They claim they only send you what you ordered and I only ordered pullets, but oh well. I am not not allowed to have roosters but I also have no clue how loud this guy may be and if he is a jerk I don’t want him.

Well, the sexing method is only 90% accurate anyways.

yup, I wrote that in my OP, right? I figured it was pretty likely that one of them would end up a roo- just wasn’t sure since EE’s are such a mutt-ly bunch.

and yes, I realize that I would either need to incubate or have a broody hen in order to get chicks- but quite frankly I am not going to explain the finer points of chicken raising to my 6 year old, I just think it’s adorable that he is talking about INFINITE CHICKENS.

I had to post a photo of my cockerel, Sage. He looks so much like yours! He's 12 weeks old. His tail feathers just started coming in last week, so up until then he had no tail at all!
