I found this coop kit on Amazon:

I want to know if you could keep two chickens in it for life, or is that cruelty?

Different people are going to have different opinions. It also depends on breed, sex and temperament. I have several prefab coops that house certain groups of chickens, but I make sure of temperament before I put birds in them permanently.

I'd be wary though, that one looms smaller than my smallest one is.

If it were a bantam breed I think that it would be fine. If it were standard or a larger breed that’s too small.

Maybe two bantams? It looks big enough for only one full size bird and way too small for two full sized birds as it only has 4 sq.ft. of coop space and 10 sq.ft of run space.

It might be good for quail… idk if quail use ramps but yeah. If not, you could always close the top door and have two separate pens. But for large chickens full time? Probably not.

x2. Two docile bantams perhaps, but even then you're right up against minimal recommendations.
