Could you get a close up on the legs from back view? I'd like to check out those spurs. . .

That tail does not look like a roo to me, but the hackle feathers look pretty pointy, and the pattern is very blotchy.

Also, RIR roosters are supposed to be nearly 10 pounds, so you'll be able to easily distinguish it from the hens because they should only be 6.5 pounds.

First of all, it is much too early for spurs. And it’s a mixed breed.
There’s no doubt it’s male. It has saddles.
