hi everyone! I’m new here and new to chickens.
On July 4th my dad only had two of his eggs hatch, and one chick died almost immediately. So we were left with one little lonely guy. I took it upon myself to mother this baby and become his companion. Usually i steet clear of the chickens.
Leonard thinks i am his mother. In the early days he would sleep under my hand on the couch. Now he lives outside in a chicken tractor and whenever I come to see him he runs over and likes to be pet and held.
I’m wondering... when can I tell if he’s a rooster or a hen? We are all hoping for hen.
