Is mcmurray hatchery good?

I have 26 chicks on the way from mcmurray hatchery.... Has anyone ordered from there...and did the chicks arrive healthy?

Absolutely reliable from my experience. I have ordered from them a couple of times and have had great service and success.

McMurray is one of the oldest and best known hatcheries around. They're completely reliable.

I ordered from them once, years ago. Eveything went fine.

I will never order from there again. I recieved a chick missing it's eyes! and multiple dead. Then i email them repeatedly and they do nothing. Wont even replace them.

they didnt even reply. with ideal, i got a reply within an hour and the replacements in 3 days! i have told them on several occasions that i love them!!!! hehe

I live in Wisconsin and last summer I ordered 25 chicks at the end of July. I'm happy with them and will be driving to Iowa, March 1st to pick up 30 more. i'm driving because I dont think they will live if I have them shipped. We are having a VERY cold winter.

i have always ordered from them . also , on my last order i lost 6 chicks within a two day period and i called them and they credited my account for the lost chicks.
