Is my 8 week old Barnevelder a cockerel?

Hello all. I have an 8 1/2 week old Barnevelder that I got from a hatchery and have a feeling it is a cockerel. Its sister (Barnevelder) doesn't even have its wattle and the comb is so much smaller. Would appreciate some help here. I am new to this!

Did you ever figure out what you had? I’m in the same boat! Have 2 that I think are male. Read if they have the pattern on their chest they’re chest then it’s more than likely a female, please let me know!

Hi! Did it end up being a male or female? I have 4, one had the same comb and wattles at 8 weeks old. It had some patterning on the chest like yours. I have 2 that have no comb or wattles, but 1 has a black chest. Then there's one with a comb and wattles half the size of the other.
The first 2 pictures are the one I think is the boy (cockerel). With the biggest comb and wattles.
