Is my Ameraucanas a rooster or hen?

Hello, I have an Ameraucuna chicken that's about 6 weeks old and I am having the hardest time trying to tell if it's a hen or a rooster. Please help!! Thanks!!

Age? Tail looks suspect for cockerel. Hard to discern saddle and hackle feathers on a white bird. Are they pointy or rounded?

Welcome to BYC!! Still a little young yet and kinda hard to tell .. can you post picture of the face.

Can we get a shot of the comb, with the head up? The tail won't make a difference at this age, as they're molting out the juvenile feathers.

Also, where did you purchase this chicken? I think its an EE, because of the green feet.

It may be a bit early to say for sure, but can you get a photo that shows its comb?

To young for saddle feather just yet. And 6 weeks is still a little young for pea combed breeds. A close clear pic of its head and comb may help.

Almost 6 weeks old. As far as I can tell it's more round feathers than pointed.

So far, I'm going to say pullet, but I'd check back in a couple more weeks.

Pretty bird. That's a whole lot of comb for a 6 week old EE pullet. I'm gonna guess male, BUT, it's really too early to make an educated guess.
