I have 6 baby chicks they are about 3 to 4 weeks old and during the day I let them go outside into a small run. They eat grass and just enjoy outside. One of the chicks seems to be "sleepy". He sits and sleeps or stands but falls asleep. The others are running and playing but he isn't as much. Could he be sick or just sleepy because of the warmth outside? His crop is full and I have not noticed any bloody droppings. Water and food is available. I gave them treats and he joined but I noticed he is the only one to be off falling asleep at times. I know I sound dramatic but I've already lost 2 and I don't want to lose another. The 2 I lost succumbed to cocci. I have already treated the crew for cocci after the first death occured. The second death occured due to cull. I had to cull the 2nd one because there were no Improvements and he was getting thinner and thinner and couldn't stand even tho I provided him with all the help I could give. Any advice would be appreciated.
