Hello, I purchased a pure blue Ameraucana from a breeder when he was still in the awkward stage. As you can see he has grown to he quite a beauty. But I am new to showing Ameraucanas. So I was looking for some opinions on him. Thank you very much!

I do not show Ameraucanas, nor do I raise them, but I know enough to see one or two faults. -which doesn't mean he isnt show quality.

I think (?) his tail is angled wrongly and he stands incorrectly.
Do you have a better broadside picture of him standing naturally?

Yes, here is a picture of him standing naturally. When I took those other photos he was a bit nervous.

Not bad, actually... the only way to tell for sure though is to just enter him in a show...

Ameraucana cockerel tails should be 45° from the horizontal, lower is better than higher... squirrel tail is a major fault...

The only thing I see with him is his lacing is very minimal, but that is common in blues... very pretty boy, would love to see him once he fills out...

Thank you very much! Yes, I will defiantly update in the future with more photos and first show.
