I do know that in most breeds that aren't Andalusians, the lacing isn't common. It got lost in the crossbreeding. There are some breeders working to fix that

Yes, I believe i have read about that before. Well I'll just have to cross my fingers that the Judges see things like that too. Thank you!

In upstate NY. We own 31 acres but only keep and hatch a few flocks of chickens. I love them and our two dogs very much!

My girl here won Reserve Variety at the Dixie Classic in Knoxville last year, unfortunately I couldn't make it this year with her daughters...

Ah ha, finally after going onto the ABC website I found that the standard for the blue Ameraucana is for them to be free of any lacing

Actually, that is the Self Blue description... what has also been called Lavender, not Blue...
