Is my breed broody?

I would like to know when an Easter Egger chicken will mate with a hen? Also, do Easter Eggers sit on their fertile eggs?

It depends on the hen as to whether she'll go broody or not. Once the girls are laying the roo will mate with them.

Yes, without a rooster the eggs are infertile. Once the girls start laying, or when they're about to, the roo will start mating with them and your eggs will be fertile.

I've never had an EE go broody, don't think they're prone to that compared to some other breeds.
