Is my chick sick?

She needs to be at 30-35°C. Use a thermometer!!! She also needs a way to get away from the heat.
And the ducklings may be scaring her.

Replying to you all ^^
the brooder is at 30 degrees Celsius, she is separated from the duckling as my duckling is two weeks old and likes to nibble on things, she doesn’t sleep all day but more often than her sister and we didn’t buy her but hatched her and her sister from eggs our hen abandoned after hatching four chicks. I hope that makes more sense :D

Ah. Any photos of your brooder setup?
Did you try to get the hen to take her back?

If she only calms down when you put your hand over her, that can mean a few things.
One: she’s cold and the warmth of your hand is what she’s seeking out.
Two: she’s lonely and considers you her mum. She wants to be near you. (But this doesn’t explain the weak, sick behavior)
Three: she’s in pain and maybe just feels comforted by you.
I second that ALL the way
