Is my chicken a male or female?

wings ,saddle, neck are 100% cockerel.

Cockerel. Though with those white tail feathers it isn't a pure Rhode Island Red.

Not a RIR, but pointed saddle and hackle feathers indicate a cockerel. Color is that of a red sex link pullet so that is a bit confusing. I'll go with crossbred cockerel.

Here it is streching as i bring it in for a while in the cold weather. Nice and warm inside.

This is a blurry pic because it would not stop moving. See how it 'runs'. The tail is short but from another roo i had he had a short white tail too. So you never know!

Oh yes didnt include that bit. He must be mixed rhode island. I got the eggs from someone and my hen sat on them. They had mixed hens and a rhode island roo

I know right. I have had a too before with a white tail it was very short, basically a poof on the end. Not long at all. Like some roos have gorgeous tails. Mines have great personality though.
