Is my chicken a male or female?

I am new to chicken raising so I am unsure how to tell gender or if it’s too early. This is my Mottled Java, and I’ve noticed their feet have been getting a lot more yellow with black spots. I haven’t noticed a comb yet, but their demeanor is very erratic and anxious so I’m not sure if that’s normal.

Any thoughts?

Too soon to tell. You will know if the comb enlarges and turns red by six weeks.
