Is my chicken a polish silkie cross?

I don't see any traits that point to Silkie from these pictures.

The crest feathers look a little fuzzy to me, but after close inspection. That’s what I thought at first.

I am also wondering what kind of comb she has.

Not likely a Silkie cross then. I'd say she is a Polish mixed with a heavy, non feather footed breed of some type. Like Plymouth Rock or something.

I would agree, but the crest is awfully well developed to be only 50% of a crested breed. I'm a little stumped!

She could be 75% or more Polish. But she looks to heavily built for a pure Polish. Mixes aren't always 50/50.

She could be a Gold Laced Polish cross being as she is bearded( Mine are)! She also looks to have EE colors as well and they are bearded (mine are)! Maybe she is Polish and EE? Or 2 types of Polish mixed? Well, whatever she is, she sure is pretty!

I thought so too, but didn't think about it and brushed it off... I'll look at the pictures of the feet I guess.

Maybe a Polish EE cross then. Definitely Polish ancestry.
